Your adventure begins with a morning train from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro, where our team will welcome you. After a delicious breakfast in Morogoro, you’ll drive straight to Mikumi National Park for your first safari experience. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy a short game drive, followed by a hot lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a full safari drive across Mikumi’s wide-open plains, spotting elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, and over 400 bird species. As the golden sun sets, head to Mikumi Cottages for dinner and overnight.

Start the day with a sunrise game drive, the best time to spot predators finishing their hunt and herbivores grazing. After breakfast, continue exploring Mikumi’s rich wildlife before checking out and returning to Morogoro town. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a guided Morogoro city tour, experiencing local markets, cultural sites, and daily life. Dinner and overnight at Mama Pierina Hotel.

After breakfast, prepare for a memorable Uluguru Mountains hike. Start at Morningside, an old German colonial settlement with spectacular views. Hike through fertile farmland to Choma Village, enjoying a traditional Tanzanian lunch, visiting Choma Waterfalls, and meeting local women entrepreneurs crafting traditional soil cakes. Return to your hotel to freshen up before transferring to the train station for your journey back to Dar es Salaam.
